Mary C. Wisniewski, 85, formerly of 3205 Cherry Street, in Plover, passed away Wednesday Morning December 19th at Riverview Lodge, Whiting, where she resided over 2 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday December 22, 2012 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, WI. Rev. Greg Bohren will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of services Saturday at the church. Burial is in the Parish Cemetery.
Mary married Dominic Wisniewski October 21st 1950 at St Casimer Catholic Church in Milwaukee. and celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2010 prior to his death. Mary spent the majority of her years raising her children and babysat her grandson in his young years. she was a bookkeeper, keeping records of genealogy and, finance. she was a recipe collector and many of her family were the recipients of her good cooking and baking skills, especially cheesecakes, strawberry rhubarb pies and Christmas cookies.
She graduated from Riverside High School, participated in tennis and roller skating , which lead her in later years to coach both her daughter's volleyball teams, throughout grade school. later in life ,she and her husband attended many of her granddaughter's basketball games and soccer matches and her grandson's band concerts.
Survivors include children Marilyn (Joel) Andelman, Waupaca, Ron (Cristi) Wisniewski, Pewaukee, son-in-law Bruce Wendorf, Onalaska , grandchildren Jeff (Allie) Wendorf, Kelly Wendorf, Shannen Wisniewski, Lindsay Wisniewski, brothers Stan Gorecki, and Joe Gorecki. sister-in-laws Mary Gorecki, and Clara Gibeault, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Susan Wendorf, her sister and brother in law Rose (August) Karkut, her brother Ed.
