Miloch, Walter W. "Wally"

Walter W. "Wally" Miloch, 97, of Polonia, passed away peacefully at his home on June 8, 2013.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1916, to the late Joseph and Martha (Hyrek) Miloch, and was only two-years-old when his mother died and he was raised in the St. Clare Orphanage in Polonia. He resided there until he was age 12 and then went to live with Tom and Anna Palbrach, working as a farm hand on their farm.

Walter continued to live on the farm with Ray and Anna Palbrach and also resided with them when they moved off of the farm. Once retired, Walter went to live by himself.

He had also worked for Dan Koziczkowski and Ralph Koziczkowski building homes, as he was a carpenter most of his life.

His interests included fishing, hunting and helping people. He enjoyed going on vacations up North with his special friends, Chester and Grace Domaszek.

Survivors include two nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; two half-brothers; and one half-sister.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time for Mass. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point, is assisting with arrangements.
