Ramona D. Yach, 88, Town of Franzen, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on April 1, 1926 in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Matt and Regina (Kosobucki) Glodowski.
On October 7, 1944, Ramona was united in marriage to Chester Yach at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Rosholt. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2013.
Ramona and Chester farmed in the town of Franzen. She was a wonderful cook and baker and always made sure people had enough to eat at gatherings. She also enjoyed gardening, but loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane (Joe) Stanchik, Plover, Donna (Walter Nowak) Yach-Cisewski, Wausau, Patricia (Mark) Doede, Rosholt and Margie (Scott Groshek) Yach, Hatley; six grandchildren, Richard, Laura, Daniel, Aaron, Cheryl and Michelle; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Joselyn and Riley; two sisters, Theresa Stanislawski, Rosholt and Agnes (Ronald) Kobishop, Stevens Point and two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Glodowski, Rosholt and Minnie Wanta, Stevens Point. She is also survived by other many other relatives.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ramona was preceded in death by one son, Dicky Yach; son-in-law, Thomas Cisewski and her siblings, Joe Glodowski, Emily Fredach and Ernie Glodowski.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galloway. Rev. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday from 10am until the time of services at the church. There will be a Rosary Service at 7:30pm on Wednesday at the church.
