Elizabeth Kiedrowski Obituary
Kiedrowski, Elizabeth

Elizabeth (Betty) Kiedrowski, age 94, passed away in Fairfield Glade, TN, where she resided for the past few years. Betty was born in Auburndale, WI on October 13, 1919, the seventh of twelve children born to John M. and Margaret Schill Zwaska. Betty graduated from Auburndale High School and was employed by Hardware Mutual Ins. (now Sentry Ins.) until her marriage to Dr. Chester Kiedrowski, a local dentist on June 3, 1944.

Betty and "Doc" raised their five children in Stevens Point and upon Doc's retirement after forty four years of practicing dentistry they moved to Amherst Junction, WI, near family cottages on Lake Emily. There were many years at "the lake" where Betty happily entertained many friends and family during days of water skiing and other water activities. She could be heard numerous times during the day reminding grandchildren to "wear your lifejacket on the dock". Betty also enjoyed tending her flowers in her many flower gardens.

Betty was a member of St. James Catholic church in Amherst, as well as a member of the ladies' Altar Society .Betty especially enjoyed the many years she spent as a volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Resale Shop. A much anticipated event by her visiting grandchildren was a trip to "St. Vinny's", returning with a special find.

Betty is survived by her five children: James, Poplar Grove, IL, Mary Kopmeier(John), Fairfield Glade, TN, John(Deborah), Sturgeon Bay, WI, Margi Johnson(Douglas), Fairfield Glade, TN, and Frank, Algoma, WI. Further survived by fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, and her six sisters and five brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23 at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM at St. James prior to the mass.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. James Parish or Good Samaritan Society, 100 Samaritan Way, Fairfield Glade, TN 38558

The family wishes to thank all the care givers at The Good Samaritan Society of Fairfield Glade,TN, for their Christian and loving care of "Miss Betty".
