Donna Rae Buza

Donna Rae Buza (Perron) age 78, of Plover, entered into the house of the Lord on Saturday evening, August 23, 2014, at Ministry St. Michaels Hospital surrounded by her loving husband and seven children at her side.

Donna was born on February 3, 1936, in the town of Plover, to the late Edwin and Ruby (Drozier) Perron. She married Gerald Buza on November 9, 1953 at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. They resided in Whiting, where they raised seven children. Gerald and Donna were happily married for sixty one years.

Donna was an avid volunteer and enjoyed serving others as a member of the Plover VFW Post 1062 Women's Auxiliary, St. Bronislava Rosary Society, and as a Cub Scout leader. She also took pleasure in helping others.

Donna had a passion for cooking, ceramics, baking, fishing, camping, playing cards, casino trips and mostly spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were special and dear to her heart.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Gerald and their seven children; Allen (Angie) Buza of Santee, SC, Michael (Susan) Buza of Stevens Point, Karla (Jerome) Tepp of Plover, Tamera (Dale) Garski of De Pere, Donald ( Leslie) Buza of Custer, Dana (Daniel) Eiden of Whiting, Becci (Michael) Jurgella of Plover, twenty grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister and best friend, Arlene Bannach (Perron) of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers Clifford and Alton, and two sisters, Nada and Rojean.

The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff of Whispering Pines Lodge, St. Michaels Hospital, and Father Dennis Lynch.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday August 27, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bronislava Catholic Church 3200 Plover Road Plover, with Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials in Donna's name will be established at a later date. Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover is honored to serve the family.
