Caroline Kurszewski Obituary
Of Rosholt died Wednesday evening March 14, 2012 at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, WI. Age 91 Caroline was born July 4, 1920 in the Town of Alban. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Garski) Stanislawski. Caroline attended St. Adalbert Grade school.
Her marriage to Joseph T. Kurszewski took place on September 27, 1941 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Milwaukee for a number of years, returning to the Rosholt area in 1983. Her husband Joseph died March 12, 1993.
Caroline enjoyed listening to music, especially Danny O'Donnell but her most precious moments was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Adalbert's Rosary Society.
In lieu of flowers a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.
Survivors include one daughter Bonita (Daniel) Patoka of Plover, and one son Joseph (Paula) Kurszewski of Pewaukee, WI.
Five grandchildren; Michelle (Gerry) Klein, Maria (Randy) Rosicky, Mary Lynn Patoka, Justin (Kaysie) Kurszewski and Lisa Kurszewski.
Her seven great grandchildren; Emma, Ethan, Alexa, Sam, Jack, Hunter and Hudsyn. One sister Loretta Kedrowicz of Rosholt and many nieces and nephews.
Caroline was preceded in death by five sisters; Clara, Dorothy, Florence, Irene and Lillian, and three brothers; Edwin, Emil and Felix.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday March 19, 2012 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Rev. Greg Michaud officiating. Burial will be in the St. Adalbert Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call after 9:30 am Monday at St. Adalbert church until the time for mass. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangement.
