Robert (Bob) W. Veldhoff, age 66, of Plover, died November 5, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI.
Bob was born on August 5, 1946 to Marvin & Greta (Stegink) Veldhoff in Holland, Michigan.
He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business at Hope College and a MBA at the University of Michigan. Bob worked for Sentry Insurance as a Product Management Consultant until his retirement.
Bob married Lee (Fenton) on May 22, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. They lived in various places for Bob's job before settling in Plover in 1979.
Bob enjoyed golfing, traveling, and was an avid sports fan, especially of hockey and football. Bob was a active member of Grace Baptist Church, and was active in the local area hockey organizations; including as a rink announcer for SPASH Hockey.
Survivors include his parents of Holland, Michigan; wife, Lee of Plover; daughter, Rebekah (Michael) Garringer of Portland, Oregon; son, Stephen (Becky) Veldhoff of Whiting; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, November 9, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church, Plover, WI with Rev. Gary Akright officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Boston Funeral Home, and on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. A private interment will be held in Plover Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to Bible Tracts Inc.
