Mansavage, Ralph R.

Ralph R. Mansavage, 70, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Woodside Hospice Center, St. Petersburg, FL, after several years of couragesly battling cancer.

Ralph was born on March 3, 1942, in Stevens Point, WI. He was the son of the late, Ralph Mansavage Sr. and Isabelle Zywicki. He attended the Stevens Point Schools, and graduated from PJ Jacobs in 1960 and then joined the United States Marine Corps, where he earned the status of Lance Corporal.

Ralph worked 25 years as a supervisor for the Stevens Point Brewery, he also worked on construction, and at the paper mill. Upon retirement, he enjoyed his winter doing various hobbies, such as, remodeling projects, fishing, and relaxing in the Florida sun.

He was an avid member of the Moose Lodge, Elks, and the Marine Corps League.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Barbara K. for 12 years; son, Ralph (Bud) Mansavage; stepdaughters, Kim (John) Jones, Stevens Point; Heidi (Kurt) TeWinkel, Hudson; three brothers, Ray (Marlene) Mansavage, Stevens Point; Norm and Ed Engebretson, Plover; six sisters, Terri (Earl) Seybold, Milwaukee; Barbara (Ken) Hottenstein, Menomonee Falls; Mary (Jerry) Spielvogel, Dacada; Sandy (Dale) Lepinski, Stevens Point; Linda Wiegele, Fremont; Tina Engebretson, Adams Friendship; and four grandchildren, David and Jaden Jones, and Carley and Bailey TeWinkel.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and his two brothers; Andy and Ron Engebretson.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled to take place in March.
