Betty Jane Litzau
Betty Jane Litzau, 89, of Plover, died Saturday April 27, 2013 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Plover. Betty was born on August 22, 1923 in Milwaukee. She was the daughter of the late William & Della Hoth.
She attended local schools in Milwaukee. Her marriage to Robert Litzau took place on April 3, 1948 in Milwaukee.
Betty was active in her parish at Frame Memorial Church, and with the League of Women Voters. Betty also volunteered her service at St. Michael's Hospital.
Betty loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors, including bird watching, fishing, bicycling and golfing.
Betty enjoyed games, played in a bridge club, and was an avid crossword puzzler.
She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Litzau of Plover. Sons; Robert W. (Annie Salmona) Litzau of Milwaukee and Jack (Marikay) Litzau of St. Paul Minnesota. Grandchildren; Rebecca, Jeff, Orion, Ilan, Isabelle, David and Kathryn. Great-Grandchildren; John, Emily, Danika, Kaylee, Viviene, JoeHenri and Leyton.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Claudia, sisters Lenore and Dorothy and brother William.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Visitation on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King.
