Angeline Clara Lorenzi, age 81, of Brillion, passed away on her birthday, Monday, July 15, 2013 at Brillion West Haven surrounded by her family.

Angeline was born on July 15, 1932 in the township of Carson, daughter of the late Nicolas and Clara (Lang) Glaza. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy High School in Stevens Point, class of 1950. She attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) for computer programming to assist her with her work on the NASA Apollo Moon Project. On July 5, 1958, Angeline married David E. Lorenzi at St. Philips Catholic Church in Rudolph, WI. She worked for General Motors (GM) at Delco Electronics for 32 years as a Product Inspector in the quality control department. She was responsible for the quality of the electronic circuit boards that comprised the components of the computers used in the spacecraft that went to the moon in the Apollo Space Program. She received special recognition for her contribution toward the success of the missions. She was also involved in the other company projects related to quality control. After her retirement in 1980 from Delco, she attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, majoring in floral design. She was then employed at Alan Preuss Florist in Brookfield as a floral designer, retiring after 18 years.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years: David of Brillion; her siblings: Richard (Mary Lou) Glaza of Rudolph, Marie (Jerry) Joosten, Paul (Carol) Glaza, Nicholas (Patricia) Glaza, all of Wisconsin Rapids, Bernadine (Leigh) Sickinger of Springfield, IL, Andrew (Mary) Glaza of Reedsville, Darlene (Edward) Sayre of Mineral Point, and Theresia (Chris) Groshek of Pittsville; one sister-in-law: Clara Lorenzi; one nephew: Demain Solomonother, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Cunegunda Lorenzi and Enrico Lorenzi, one sister: Dorothy Hartney, one brother-in-law: John P. Hartney, one great nephew: Rick Glaza, and other in-laws.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
