Johnson, Ramona "Mona"
Ramona "Mona" Johnson 80, passed away at home in the presence of her loving family in Wisconsin Rapids, Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was born in March 22, 1933 to Lloyd and Anna (Toetschinger) Meverden. She married the love or her life Clyde LeRoy Johnson in Manawa, WI on January 12, 1952. Some of her favorite pastimes included gardening and canning, traveling, fishing, golfing and preparing food for her family. The deer hunting season brought many visitors by Mona's stand in the "big country" where she had a warm fire, an extra snack for the kids and grandkids and time to listen to any hunting stories. Clyde and Mona enjoyed many trips "down south" for the winter months. She was the President of the PTA , taught Sunday School and was a Girl Scout Leader. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed planning and organizing family events.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Johnson; three sons Tom (Dianne) Johnson Mitchell, SD, Steve Johnson, Ely, MN, Jeff (Alice) Johnson, Junctions City; three daughters Doreen (Jack) Reinwand, Lodi, WI, Mary (Mike )Robers, Wisconsin Rapids, Laura(Ron) Vanderhei, Wisconsin Rapids; 11 grand children, Dawn Savage, Clint(Stephaine) Johnson, Seth(Amber) Johnson, David and Emily Johnson , Caleb (Spring) Reinwand, Jacob Reinwand, Ben(Renee) Tilberg, Molly (Noah) Jackson and Danny and Jaimie Vanderhei; and 6 great grand children. She is predeceased by ten brothers and sisters and one surviving sister. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting family. On line condolences can be made at www.jjbfh.com

Mom, Had a great trip down memory lane the last few nights sorting through pictures and reading your journals of trips we had taken as a family and your adventures with Dad. Mona was indeed a special lady and Clyde your love was an honor to behold. Her struggles here are over and I know she will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. I remember her with a smile and sad heart.
