Alm, Verner

Verner Eric Alm 90 of Stevens Point passed away peacefully at Sylvan Crossings on March 27, 2017. He was born to Eric and Clara (Sundeen) Alm on March 30, 1926 in Chicago, IL. He lived in Chicago, Indiana, Connecticut and later moved to Stevens Point, WI in 1942. He attended North Central University. He pastored churches in Boscobel and Mauston then began over the road trucking in 1953. He is survived by his wife Bette, six children; Priscilla (Bruce), Pansy (Dana), Paul (Carla), Phillip (Barb), Patti (Don) and Perry (Kris), 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Connie.

Services will be held at Highland Church Plover on Saturday, April 1, 2017 with Visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. until the time of Service at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Nathan Schroeder and Pastor Carl Winkelman will be officiating.

Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting family at this time. Online condolences can be made at www.HonorOne.com
