Huber, Sr. Margaret Mary, RSM A Sister of Mercy for 68 years was born on November 28, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. Sister Margaret Mary entered the Sisters of Mercy on September 8, 1945 and professed final vows on August 16, 1951. Sister attended Our Lady of Sorrows elementary school and Rosati-Kain High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Received a Certificate in Chaplaincy from St. Louis University/Barnes Hospital, a M.Ed. in Elementary Administration from St. Louis University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Webster College, St. Louis, Missouri. Ministries: Teacher at Christ the King Elementary School in St. Louis, MO. Principal/Teacher at St. Francis Xavier School in Sikeston, MO. Principal at St. Joan of Arc Elementary School in St. Louis, MO. Principal/Teacher at Sts Simon & Jude School in Gillespie, IL. Principal/Teacher at St. Joseph's Parish/School in Springfield, MO. Pastoral Care-Chaplain at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO and Washington, MO Sister retired in 2001 at St. Joseph's Convent of Mercy and then moved to Catherine's Residence in St. Louis, MO where she peacefully went to God on August 14, 2013. Sister Margaret Mary was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Elizabeth Huber, Sisters, Doris Kennedy, Helen Smith and Ann Brandes. She is survived by her brothers Jack Huber and Paul (Patsy) Huber along with many nieces and nephews. Sister Margaret Mary was a gentle woman, very caring of her family and her religious Community. Services: Welcoming and sharing of memories will begin at 4:00 PM on August 20, 2013 at Catherine's' Residence-Mercy Center located at 2039 North Geyer Road followed by Eucharistic Liturgy at 6:00 PM.
