I will never forget his smile and laugh. Spent many of many nights in his home and could have just as easily called him dad. Say hello to Jack buck and Stan the man and maybe you can get them to play some 4 and score. :). Rest in peace buddy.

Kaye, KC and Meghan,

I will always remember the laughs we shared with Fred on the softball field. My favorite ball memories are the ones of your dad coaching the Roadrunners. He was a great man and will be missed!

Mr. H was such a fun guy- I remember him initiating a big discussion about Ally McBeal one night years ago. If memory serves, the big man (in his husky voice) complained there wasnt enough romance in the show! He cracked me up and is missed by all that knew him. Love and hugs to the whole family- KC, Steph, Tyler, Emma, Claire, Kaye & Megan.

KC and Step
So sorry to learn about the loss of Fred. We know how much you loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our deepest sympathy to the your mom and family.
Heather just reminded us of how she learned how to golf off of Fred's clubs. You and Tony helped her develop a pretty good drive with those clubs.

Mr. H, you impacted my life and helped shape who I am today, and who I still aspire to be. 'Thank you' doesn't seem to say enough ... but truly, thank you.

Fred was the first person we met when we moved to La Bonne in May of 1978. Fred came over with, then 18 month old, Meghan and introduced himself. You and Fred had moved in the day before, and Fred was already showing us around. Fred could really make us laugh with his dry sense of humor and quick wit. He was always ready to jump in and help out with any project, and there was nothing he could not accomplish. Kay, we have so many fond memories of you, Fred, KC, and Meghan as neighbors back in the day, 1978-1993. As neighbors, they don't come any better than the Hildenbrands. Your family found a place in our hearts that will endure forever. Fred was a great man. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and to us a cherished friend. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We had a wonderful childhood at All Souls in the 50's. Fred was always fun and had a twinkle in his eyes when thinking about a little mischief. At our reunion he was so proud of his children and loved the grandkids.
God Bless.

Fred was the first person we met when moved to the neighborhood. I don't think we had even officially bought the house before he had us over to see what a beautiful rehab he had done on his own home. Jacob and I felt very good about our decision to move into the neighborhood knowing we had such a great neighbor just a few houses away.
