Sister Dolores introduced me to feminism and made me cognizant of who I was as a daughter of the Divine. I will always treasure her, her faith in me, and her incredible intellect, which I was both in awe of and determined to develop for myself. Thank you, Dolores, for setting me straight on my path of prophetic obedience.

I will never forget Sister Greeley, who was my mentor and favorite teacher at SLU as I studied for mt degrees in theology and English. I still remember her course on death and dying as well as her course on women in theological perspective. I was the only male in the latter course and took the class just to hear her wisdom. I will always remember our discussions and laughter. Although I have not seen her since 1978, she still influences me even now as I now serve students in education as a school administrator. I know that she is smiling and proud of me... I am a better man because of her influence in my life. Please pray for us Sister Dolores!

Sister Mary Amabilis taught me in 1st and 2nd grade in Gillespie,IL, at SS Simon & Jude School. I remember how sweet, caring and patient she was teaching 2 grades at one time in a classroom of 60 children. Sister gave me my start in education, taught me the prayers I pray each day, and prepared me for First Holy Communion. I will always be grateful. May God reward her richly with eternal life with Him.
