Edgar, Randall Dean 53, of West Palm Beach, Florida went to be with our Lord on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. Comfortable and at peace in his new journey, Randy is more than a memory; he remains a loving and living presence to his family and friends. He was someone who gave of himself to many- be it people or animals in need- far more than he gave to himself. Born August 23, 1959, in Bonne Terre, MO, Randy is survived by his parents- father Robert Edgar and his companion Georgia Reid of Imperial, MO; and mother Shirley Swanson and her husband Don of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by sister Melissa Adams and her husband Terry of Arnold, MO, and sister Tamara Tolley and her husband Scott of Wellington, Fla. Randy is also survived by five nieces and nephews- Justin Elders of St. Louis and Brian Elders of Farmington, MO.; and Austin Tolley, Dylan Tolley and Hannah Tolley of Wellington, Fla. Randy was a skilled carpenter and a talented artist, whose craftsmanship and creativity were admired by many and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Outside of the joy that his family brought him, Randy opened his home and his heart to homeless dogs and cats. With that, there is a special memory of him that lives along with the unconditional love found within Sid, Patches and Junior. Services: Memorial services are scheduled for noon Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Kutis Funeral Home South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO, 63129. Prior to the memorial service, there will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Kutis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis (www.strayrescue.org), 2320 Pine Street, St. Louis, MO, 63103-2219; or make a tribute gift to honor Randy's memory to the Animal Rescue Foundation at www.arf.net. Howard-Price Funeral Home of North Palm Beach, Fla., is assisting the family.

Randy was like an older brother to me ... I have been so blessed to have had him in my life and will miss him so very much ... we talked every week on the phone ever since he moved back to Florida ... we had been talking about living side by side again here in Missouri till we got old ... we shared a mutual love for animals, automobiles, building things and so much more ... I will never forget the fun we had together as kids into our adulthood ... we laughed together so much up to just a week ago ... there were times where we could not stop laughing ...
especially at prayer time at the dinner table ... I am going to be empty for a while with out my Bro ... but I will try hard to just think of the many good times we had ... I know this is what Randy would want me to do ... Rest in Peace Bro !!! Love Cuzzin Jimmy
