Nordmann, Robert William  
Nordmann, Robert William 76, of DeWitt, MI, passed away August 24, 2015. He was born in St. Louis, MO on December 11, 1939 to Bernard and Lucie Nordmann. Robert graduated from St. Louis University where he played basketball. He went on to play for 4 years in the NBA in the early 60's. Robert was the assistant basketball coach for many years at both Michigan State University and St. Louis University. Later he worked in the computer technology field in Lansing and Jackson. Robert loved spending time with his family, watching MSU sports, and auto racing. He also enjoyed trivia, playing tennis, golf, and poker and was known to appreciate a good prank. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters-in-law, Mary Nordmann and Catherine Nordmann. Surviving to cherish his memory are daughters, Andrea Nordmann, and Marcie (Ryan) Taggert; sons, Robert (Teri) Nordmann, Eric (Alicia) Nordmann, and Matt (Sherri) Nordmann; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Kate) Nordmann, Melissa (Aaron) Hiner, Trey, Tyler and Taya Nordmann, Lexi and Ashley Nordmann, and Addie Taggert; 6 brothers, Bernard (Betty) Nordmann, Bill (Fran) Nordmann, David Nordmann, Larry (Sue) Nordmann, John (Lisa) Nordmann, Chris Nordmann; and sister, Lucie Nordmann, RSCJ. Services: A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St, DeWitt, MI with Rev. Robert Irish officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the church. A scripture service will be held at 7:30 Friday. Those desiring may make contributions in honor of Robert to the American Cancer Society, 1755 Abbey Road, East Lansing, MI 48823. Interment will be at a later date at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, MI. Naert, Joseph August age 103, on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Preceded by loving wife of over 80 years, Thelma Rose Naert. Mother of Gerre (Teresa) Naert, and the late Norma (Patrick) Maloney. Grandfather to Tim (Lisa) Maloney, Tina (Greg) Nightingale, Steve (Anita) Naert, Susan (Roland) Nalagan, Terri (Paul) Wieland, Ted (Mary) Maloney, and Joe Naert. Newman, Madelon (nee DeMuri) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thursday, August 20, 2015. Beloved wife of the late George Newman; dear sister and sister-inlaw of Marion (Virginia) DeMuri, the late Margaret (Richard) Pisoni, and the late J.C. DeMuri; dear aunt of Cheryl (Edward) Lovercheck, Michael (Deena) DeMuri, Catherine (Eric) Hoemeyer, Richard (Amy) Pisoni, Leslie (Mark) Hood, Joseph (Christi) DeMuri, and John (Stacy) Pisoni; favorite aunt of her 14 great nieces and nephews; dear friend of many. Madelon was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Duchesne Council #2951, graduated from De Paul School of Nursing in St. Louis as an RN, and retired after many years as an industrial nurse at McDonnell-Douglas. Noguera M.D., Salomon  
Noguera, Salomon, M.D. 89, died after having a stroke on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri. He was born on July 4, 1926 in Leon, Nicaragua to Salomon & Mercedes Noguera. In 1956 he married Gladys Florinda Hernandez and they raised their son, Solomon Noguera, M.D., together. Salomon was a practicing physician for 40 years. He worked at Manteno Mental Health Center in Illinois for 30 years and was the medical director for the last 12 years he was there. Salomon is survived by his loving wife Gladys, their son Solomon (Marvena) and his granddaughters Felecia and Sheena. Services: There will be a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to St. Vincent de Paul.

Nottmeier, Arland  
Nottmeier, Arland Arland Nottmeier, 79, of Bowling Green, KY, died August 20, 2015. Arlie Nottmeier, son of Armin and Bertha Nottmeier, was born in Renault, IL, and baptized in Valmeyer, IL. Arland, the loving husband of Joan H. Nottmeier, passed away in Atlantic Beach, FL, while visiting his son. He is survived by his wife Joan, two sons Eric and Alex, daughter-inlaws Jennifer and Tracy, four grandchildren, Reese, Sloan, Turner, and Hudson, and sister Sharon. Arland served in the U.S. Army 1955-1957 and worked 24 years at Anheuser Busch, retiring in 1993. He loved the outdoors, whether fishing, golfing or hunting. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services: The Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 29th, 11 a.m., at Christ United Church of Christ, 200 S. 3rd St., Dupo, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. A Celebration of Life Service in Bowling Green, KY, will be held at a later date.
