Otten, Lawrence L. "Larry"  
Otten, Lawrence Larry L. 70, of Bridgeton, MO passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille (nee Holdmeier) Otten; brothers, Dennis in infancy and Terry (survived by Donna Hendrix) and a nephew, Ezekiel Otten. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (nee Inukai) Otten; siblings, Bill Otten, Marilyn (George) Smith, Luann (Ray) Ferguson; brother-inlaw, Gerry (Leslie) Inukai, and 10 nieces and nephews. He was a great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Larry was a proud member of the US Marines and served in the Vietnam Conflict as one of the first soldiers sent at the age of just 17. He attained the rank of Sergeant and was a Medal of Valor recipient. He also received honors for sharp shooting and good conduct. Larry received a bachelor's degree from Central MO State and worked for Jefferson-Smurfit where he retired. He and his wife loved to travel the US and aboard. He also loved golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Larry was forever optimistic with a will of iron. SEMPER FI! Services: Friends may visit on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074.
