Uskokovich, Neno Nenad
Uskokovich, Neno Nenad 68, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015, after a long battle with heart failure. Neno was born January 27, 1947, in Podgorica, Montenegro, to parents Tomo and Stanka (Dabetic) Uskokovic. At the age of 18, he left the old country and lived in Sweden, Paris, New York and Los Angeles before moving to St. Louis in 1971, where he spent 44 years of his life. He worked to become a selfemployed Hair-Stylist and owner of Neno's Coiffures and Hair By Neno in Brentwood Square, and later he opened Frontenac Salon & Spa and Neno's Hair Studio in Le Chateau Village. Neno enjoyed his lifelong profession as a European Stylist and retired 4 years before his passing. He was a character with a vibrant spirit and larger than life personality. Neno enjoyed his second home in Naples, Florida, fishing, hunting, cowboy movies, fast cars, fine watches, football, red carpet fashion and telling inappropriate jokes. Most of all, he loved all of his children until his dying day. Neno is survived by his five children, Brian (40), Sharon (39), Angela (37), Rachel (21) & Alex (20), his brother Milos (Cica) Uskokovic of Crna Gora, nephew Igor Uskokovic of Stockholm, niece Staca Arandjelovic, cousins Lazar Bakocevic and Natasa Uskokovic of Belgrade, among many other relatives. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his beloved brother, Cvetko (Jane) Uskokovic, both parents and his maternal Uncle Unjac Milo Dabetic, who raised Nenad after his mother passed on May 25, 1950 when he was three years old. Neno will be missed with great love, celebrated with memories of laughter, and will never be forgotten for his fighting spirit he had until the end of his lifelong journey. Forever remembered by countless friends in many states and countries, including his dedicated and honorable GodFamilies Glogovac, Jovicevic, Samardzic, Scepanovic and Turkovic. To quote Frank Sinatra, he lived a life that was full, he traveled each and every highway, and more, much more than this, in his own words, I did it my way. Services: A tribute to Neno's memory will be held at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will follow at O'B Clark's, at 1921 South Brentwood Blvd., starting at 5 PM to share your favorite memories. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com .
