Hackmann, Hugo  
Hackmann, Hugo of St. Charles, MO passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 26, 2015 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Hackmann (nee Schmiemeier); loving father of Debbie (Steve) Salvo, Darrell (Connie) Hackmann, Sue Busch and Angie Goettel (Scott Thompson) and close friend of the family Debbie Kennedy. Proud grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Harold (Verna) Hackmann, Norine (the late Lloyd) Anderson and Eunice (the late Bill) Struckmann. Hugo is preceded in death by his parents Hugo and Cora Hackmann. Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. Hugo retired from St. Charles Dairy and was a lifelong member of Friedens UCC. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing pinochle and listening to classic country music. Services: Visitation at the STYGAR MID RIVERS Funeral Home & Crematory, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. (St. Charles) on Fri., Aug 28 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. The family will then receive friends at Friedens United Church of Christ, 1703 S. Old Highway 94 (St. Charles) on Sat. from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Service commencing at 10:00 A.M. Hammond, Natalie Hunter, William Hammond, Mary Vanpool and the late Douglas J. Hammond; dear grandfather of Michael Jacob, Jenna, Patrick, Maggie, Cecilia, Miriam, Matthew, Gwenyth, William, Grace, Austin, Scott and Noah; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Hammond was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army River Rats and lifetime member of VFW Post 3944. Hartupee, John E. 56, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence. Loving husband of Anne (nee Taylor) Hartupee, father to Joshua Hartupee and Jennifer (Nathan) Johannes, grand-father of Christian Awes and Macie Johannes, and dear brother of Sandi (Daryl) Raeber, Linda (Gary) Rosener, Gary (Donna) Hartupee, Skip Hartupee and Tracy Hartupee. John is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed. He offered friendship and love to all who knew him. His fun loving nature leaves us with many great memories. Hencken, Herold F. Jr. of Chesterfield MO, passed away in peace on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Bechtold) Hencken; dear son of the late Virginia (nee Cook) Hencken and Herold F. Hencken, Sr. Loving father of Felicia (Steve) Cox and Herold F. Hencken III (Trip). Loving grandfather of Tyler Meyer and Carter Meyer Dearest brother of John Hencken and Victor Hencken. Loving friend to many, he will be missed by all who knew him. Services: A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 9 S. Henrici, John Willard  
Henrici, John Willard April 23, 1932 - August 24, 2015 John Willard Henrici, 83, died Monday, August 24, at home with his family nearby. John was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to John Nicolas and Emma Henrici. He was a life long Boy Scout which began as a child until the day he died. He served as a Round Table Leader in the Keystone and River City Districts. In 1953, John enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War until being honorably discharged in 1955. He married Lydia Eilene Hartmann on July 8, 1955. He worked as a courier at Red Arrow and Abbott Ambulance of St. Louis, each for 20 years. He was known for his tireless energy. He was an active member at Lavon Drive Baptist Church of Garland, Texas and devoted himself to his shut-in ministry. John is survived by his wife, Lydia; his children, Ron, John (Lisa), and Rebecca (Gary) Fitzsimmons; son-inlaw Bill Ware; seven grandchildren; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Connie Ware. Services: Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, at 9 a.m. at Lavon Drive Baptist Church in Garland. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Herschel, Phillip William  
Herschel, Phillip William 93, passed away Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 in Sarasota, FL. He was born on April 11, 1922 in St. Joseph, MO. He served in World War II as a Naval Pilot with the rank of Lieutenant. He flew Hellcats and Torpedo bombers off of aircraft carriers during the war. After the war, he returned home to St. Louis where he met the love of his life, Jeannie Barrett at the Chase Park Plaza. He attended St. Louis University where he majored in English. He then went on to work in the automotive industry in 1951. He later became co-owner of Town and Country Ford in Clayton. In 1975, he moved his family to Sarasota, FL. He co-owned Herschel Buick-Pontiac in Bartow, FL. He lived in that area for 18 years before returning to Bradenton-Sarasota, in 2003. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean of 61 years in 2007. Survivors include his four children: Gary (Cindy), St Louis, MO; Randi (Mike) White, Sanford; Phillip (Janice), Bradenton; Salle House, Sarasota. Nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Services: Private funeral service held Thursday, August 27th at 3 p.m. Covell Funeral Home, 4232 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205.
