Heisler, John W. baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, January 26, 2015. Loving husband of the late Margaret M. (nee Kulongowski); dear father of Debra A. (Ronald) Neustadt; dear step-grandfather of Martha (Keith) Storie and Katherine Neustadt and dear friend. Preceded in death by his parents Bernard A. and Esther (nee Leebrick) Heisler Sr. and brother Bernard A. Heisler Jr. John was an avid bowler until age 93 and recognized in the International Bowling Hall of Fame for bowling several 300 games. Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday, January 30, 11 a.m. Entombment at Mt. Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Family Hospice of Belleville or a charity of your choice appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.

Hemenway, Robert J. Bob Born January 12, 1934. Passed away January 23, 2015 at the age of 81 from complications due to COPD. Beloved husband of Barbara Hemenway (nee Tessereau); dear father of Stacy (Dave) Sabino; dear grandfather of Nicholas (Marti) Sabino and Sydney Sabino; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Bob was a successful restaurant owner in St. Charles and rural Missouri, and in his later years was a school bus driver for Rockwood and the Special School District. Friendly and outgoing, Bob loved his family and always had a quick wit and kind words for friends and strangers alike. Born in Chicago, Bob grew up in Texas, was a member of the United States Navy based in San Diego from 1955-1958 and then attended Arizona State University. Service 11 a.m., Sat. 1/31, at Libertyville Christian Cemetery in Libertyville, MO. Donations to Farmington Christian Church appreciated.

Hermann Jr., Frederick Albert  
Hermann, Frederick Albert Jr. Frederick A. Fred Hermann, Jr. was born October 17, 1924 and died peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. He was surrounded by his children: Shep (Robin), Rick, Holly Gulick (David), Lyn Grace (Warren), and Mary Lemkemeier (John). He was preceded in death by Sally Keyes Hermann, his beloved wife of 62 years. He was so proud of his 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom idolized him: Missy (Don) Pydo and Gigi, and Kati (Brett) Mawhiney; Drew (Alix) Gulick, and Clint Gulick; Ted, Louis, William, and Peter Grace; Sally, Jimmy, and Charlie Lemkemeier. He is also survived by his brother, Robert R. Hermann (Mary Lee) and nieces and nephews. Fred attended Country Day School and graduated Princeton University BSE '46 following two years of service in the 14th Armored Division of the US Army where he was awarded a Bronze Star for unusual versatility and tireless devotion to duty in France and Germany during World War II. Fred re-established Hermann Oak Leather Company where he served as President and CEO. He was elected President of Leather Industries of America and served as trustee of Country Day and Mary Institute Schools. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and served on the boards of Barnard and the Siteman Cancer Center. Fred's family was the focus of his life. He loved activity, whether gardening, playing tennis, fishing or waterskiing. He will always be remembered as a towering figure of friendliness and good cheer. Special thanks to his and Sally's caregiver, Shirley Ellington, for faith and loving care. Services: A Memorial Service will be conducted at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ladue, 110 North Warson Road, on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00 PM. Private interment. Memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Church; Siteman Cancer Center, 10 Barnes West Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141; or to the charity of one's choice. A SERVICE OF THE LUPTON CHAPEL
