Gfaller, Frank Josef age 80, peacefully passed from this earth on Monday, May 23, 2016. Born in Mannheim, Germany, he was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Kathleen (Collumb) Gfaller and only child of Josef and Emma (Schmidt) Gfaller. A US army veteran and retired electrical engineer, he is survived by his only son Joseph Christopher Gfaller (Kraig Turner) of St. Louis, MO and his cousin Marlene Hansen of Cologne, Germany. Services: There will be a visitation today at Ambruster Chapel 6633 Clayton Rd. (Clayton) from 4-8 p.m. In Denville, NJ, where he resided for 38 years, there will be a visitation at Norman Dean Home for Services Friday from 7-9 p.m. and a burial mass at St. Mary's Church Saturday at 10 a.m. Online condolences at ambrusterchapel.com .

Harp, Jerry Lee May 14, 2016, age 80, of St. Louis, formerly of Vandalia. Services: Graveside Memorial Service Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vandalia Cemetery. Officiating: Rev. Joel Montgomery. Interment of his cremains will be in the Vandalia Cemetery. Jerry Lee Harp passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Bethesda-Dilworth Home in Webster Groves. Jerry grew up in Vandalia and was a 1953 graduate of Vandalia High School. He continued his education graduating from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville. Jerry received his Master's Degree in Education from SIU in Edwardsville. He taught for 35 years, most of it as an art teacher in the Lindbergh School District. Jerry was a Christian by faith and enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks, painting, pottery and sculpture. Born: June 11, 1935 in Vandalia, Missouri, the son of Henry Asher and Julia Lucille (Goran) Harp. Married: Carol Ann Beckeman in St. Louis on August 28, 1964. Survivors include: one son, Brandon A. and wife, Lisa Harp of Webster Groves; one daughter, Kelli M. and husband, Michael Westmoreland of St. Louis; a twin brother, Jack D. Harp of Vero Beach, Florida; dearest friend, Carol Harp of Kirkwood; five grandchildren, Sydney G. Harp and Asher D. Harp both of Webster Groves; Shannon M.
