Boehning, Theodore J. Ted of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the age of 89. Loving husband of Lois Boehning (nee: Griesman); beloved son of the late Theodore, Sr. and Margaret Boehning; devoted father of Craig (Marilyn) Boehning; cherished grandfather of Dustin (Blythe) Waldschmidt, Derek (Katie) Waldschmidt, and Kara Waldschmidt; treasured great-grandfather of Lizzie, Annie, Johnny Jack, and Alli; dear father-in-law of Mark Waldschmidt and brother-in-law of Carol Boehning and Jerry (Karen) Griesman; and also loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his dearest daughter Debra Waldschmidt and his siblings Zelna Givens and William Bob Boehning. Services: The family is being served by the Baue Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 3866 S. Old Hwy. 94, St. Charles, MO on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with at Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Inter ment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Darden, Marie Hayes  
Darden, Marie Hayes Marie Hayes Darden of St. Louis, wife of the late William A. Darden, died May 21st, 2016, at the age of 90. The daughter of Everett and Vernia Orrick Hayes, Marie grew up in Eastern Tennessee in a close knit family of two brothers, twin sisters and a cousin who became part of the family at age one. A graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Social Work, Marie had a long career as a clinical social worker, primarily at Veterans Administration Medical Centers. Marie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She also served on the Board at Kingdom House. When Marie married, she embraced her husband's three children and the extended Darden family. She felt very fortunate to have stepchildren and enjoyed being Aunt Marie to a number of nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful grandmother, talented needleworker, cook, artist and crafter. She devoted many happy hours to volunteering at her church and earned the affection and admiration of all who knew her. Marie is survived by stepdaughters Karen (Robert) Rankin and Sherry (John) Collins; grandchildren Greg (Pamela Pontius) Rankin, Tracy (Andreas Clesle) Rankin, Ryan Collins, and Lindsey Collins; great grandchildren William, Patrick and Ian Rankin; sisters Eula Kitten Mauer, Beula Shelby, and cousin/sister Sarah Edington; sisters-in-law Mary Frances Hayes, Alberta Mixon and Virginia Pfeifer; nephew Bill (Alison) Shelby; nieces Debbie Hayes, and Jan (Steve) Denman; grandnieces Sophia and Emily Denman; plus a number of other grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Marie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepson Charles Darden and his long-time girlfriend Lynn Mathes; brother Hildred Hayes, his wife Frances, son Harvey and daughter Eugenia Lane; and brother Hurdle Hayes. Services: Visitation will begin at 9 am Saturday, June 11, followed by the Funeral Service at 10 a.m., at Grace United Methodist Church, 6199 Waterman at Skinker, St. Louis. Marie will be buried with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or to Kingdom House. A SERVICE OF THE LUPTON CHAPEL

Kammien, Shirley Lee  
Kammien, Shirley Lee (nee Louvier), July 3, 1935 - April 23, 2016. Passed away peacefully in her home, into the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Mozelle Louvier; and the sister of the late Leo Louvier Jr. She was the cherished wife of the late Robert Kammien; the loving mother of Michael (Kathy) Kammien, Scott Kammien, Kelly (Rick) Nowacki; the devoted grandmother of Joe, Jacob, Dakota, Jack (Roxanne); and the great-grandmother of Stella; loving aunt, and great aunt. She had many friends that she loved dearly, and was a proud member of St. Cronan's Parish. Service: A memorial service will be held at St. Cronan's Church, 1202 Boyle Ave. 63110, Thursday June 9th, 5:30-6:45 pm visitation; followed by Mass at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sustainable Therapy (722 Yale Ave. 63130), or to St. Cronan's Parish (1202 Boyle Ave. 63110). Burial June 10th at Jefferson Barracks at 10:15 am.

Martin, Henry T. "Hank"  
Martin, Henry T. Hank born on September 23, 1935 in Fredericktown, Missouri, died peacefully after a long illness on Friday, May 27, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Stella Martin, as well as his siblings, Ruby (Jerry) Cook, Ray (Pauline) Martin and Wilma (Jim) Woodall. Survivors include his loving wife, Jane, his children, Karen (Norm) Marsh, Kay (Gerry) Love and Ken (Scarlett) Martin, his grandson Mitchell Martin, his brother-in-law James (Betsy) Gerrish, cousin, and many nieces and nephews. Hank graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla, with a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering, and a Master's degree in Engineering Management. Hank served in the U.S. Army and later was in the Civil Air Patrol Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a civil engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Hank was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing, golfing, flying planes and racing stock cars. He loved to play, sing and listen to Country and Rock and Roll music. He could sometimes be heard onstage or playing guitar in an orchestra pit for a community theatre group, or smiling proudly from the audience. Hank was a long time member of Webster Groves Christian Church where he sang in the choir many years. He was a dear friend to many, and to know him was to enjoy his stories and jokes, as he loved to make people laugh. Services: Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31st from 3-8 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, MO. A celebration of his life will be Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m., following visitation at 9:30 a.m., at Webster Groves Christian Church, 1320 W. Lockwood, Glendale, MO. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 10180 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, MO. Luncheon following at Webster Groves Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Webster Groves Christian Church music program or a charity of your choice in his memory.
