Dear Anne and Family:
I'm very sorry to hear this news about Ed. He was on the faculty when I came to WU in 1970 and I found him to be a good colleague and someone I also enjoyed talking with. It was always a pleasure to see him in the Math Lounge or at some departmental gathering in the years after he retired.
