Christopher Barnes Bennett

Bennett, Christopher Barnes of McKinney, Texas, went to be with the Lord and family on January 4, 2013 at the age of 55. He was born August 29, 1957, in Williamson, West Virginia, to Chipley Bennett and Anne (Gillespie) Bennett. On August 29, 1986, Christopher married Beverly Luther, in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Furman University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, with a bachelor's degree in Geology; he later worked on his master's degree in Geophysics at the University of Texas. Christopher was formerly a geophysist at Arco Oil and Gas; he was also an environmental geologist. Currently he was working as a managing consultant for MasterCard Advisors in O'Fallon, MO. Christopher was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Des Peres, Missouri. Dearly beloved husband of Beverly Bennett; daughters, Ashley Reid and husband Dwight of Plano, Texas, Heather Davis and husband Brad of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Reid and Margaux Davis; parents, Chipley and Anne Bennett of Valparaiso, Florida; brothers, Chip Bennett of Spartansburg, South Carolina and Ronnie Napier of Panama City, Florida; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Services: A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 15750 Baxter Road, Chesterfield, Missouri.
