O'Leary, James W. The world lost a loving, kind, gentle Irishman on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 when Jim O'Leary went to be with his Lord. Jim died at home surrounded by his family and fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Kay; daughters Deborah (Jon) Majers, Bridget (Gary) Siegfried, Kathleen O'Leary, sons Kevin (Pam), and Brandon (Sarah), and stepdaughter Leah (Mark) Kilo; grandchildren Allison, Caroline and Billy Majers, Jimmy and Laura Siegfried, Danny and Jack O'Leary, Joshua Steel and Ryan and Shay O'Leary, and Carson Kilo; his sister, Mary Yeager and brother, Danny O'Leary. He is also survived by a brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna, sister Ellen, brothers Jack and Tim, and his parents William and Myrtle. Jim proudly served in the Air Force and fought in the Korean War
. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State with a degree in English. Following graduation, he began a career in the insurance business. He shared an agency with his good friend, Tom Azar, for a number of years, and was active in his own agency until his death. He was blessed to have many wonderful friends from all circles of his life: business, athletics, Saint Christopher's Parish and Knights of Columbus. Jim was a devout Catholic and relied heavily on his faith as he bravely fought cancer. He was a proud Irishman and a devoted Notre Dame fan. He loved unconditionally, and family meant everything. He never missed an opportunity to tell family and friends that he loved them. Words cannot express how much he will be missed, but his family knows that he will continue to watch over and guide them. Services: Visitation Sunday, 2-7, Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant. Funeral Mass Monday, March 25, 10 a.m., Saint Peter Catholic Church, Kirkwood. Interment St. Peter Cemetery.
