Brookman, Joy Ann (nee Whitesell) 77 of Ferguson, MO on Mon., July 19, 2010. Beloved wife of Paul Brookman; loving mother of Diana (Brad) Sedito, Marc (Kim) Turner, Mieke (David) Blank, David (Kathy) Rush, Sarah (Bill) Beaman, and Julia ((Paul) Galluzzo; dear grandmother of 11 and Sammy her special grand-dog; great-grandmother of 12; dear sister of Iona (Buddy) Lietz and Jane (Dennis) Porter; dear sister-in-law of Gerret Brookman; special friend of Lien Homan; dear aunt, greataunt, cousin and friend to many. Ann's family would like to express their many thanks to St. John's Mercy Hospice Program, her nurse Margie and friend Carol, we all love you. Ann was bigger than life. She trained with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey in Tampa, Fl, and graduated from Clowns of America International. Her passion was visiting sick and disabled children and bringing JOY to their world. Services: Memorial Service 11am Sat., July 31, at First Presbyterian Church of Ferguson, 401 Darst, Ferguson, MO 63135, with reception to follow service.
