Patrick Michael Mulqueeny

Mulqueeny, Patrick Michael 78, died on 20 January 2013. Son of the late Edna (King) and Clifford Mulqueeny. Loving husband of Margaret McKim (Kim) Harrison. Loving father of Kathleen Ann Mulqueeny Vogel (Scott), Sean Patrick Mulqueeny (Lisa) and Michael Timothy Mulqueeny. Brother to Michael (Mulqueeny) Ripley. Dear grandfather to Shannon, Kalli, Brendan and Ryan. Devoted uncle and friend. His love for life and the Irish twinkle in his eyes will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Born in East St. Louis, he grew up in St. Louis, MO and Grosse Isle, MI. Graduated from Grosse Isle High School. He attended Michigan University before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy. Worked for Emerson Electric Defense Division for 35 years in St. Louis, MO, Yuma, AZ, and Orlando, FL. Retired in 1999, moved to Hot Springs Village, AR in 2001, where he enjoyed golf, fishing and his many friends. Tenaciously fought the effects of Parkinson's disease for more than 15 years, but never gave up or let it get the best of him. Died peacefully in Hot Spring Village, AR. Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31st, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the St. Anselm Parish House, Creve Coeur, MO (across from the church). A funeral mass will be on Friday, February 1st at 12:00 noon, St. Anselm Parish. Interment following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305
