McCrary, Raymond Lloyd Jr. On May 9th, 2014, Raymond Lloyd McCrary Jr., (73) was called home due to Alzheimer's. He was the eldest child of Ray Sr. and Verlane McCrary, born on October 29th, 1940. He graduated from Cahokia Commonfields High School in 1958 and went on to serve as an MP in the Army at Ft. Leavenworth during the Vietnam War
. After leaving the service, he married Bonny Jean Depp, started a family and began work at KV Pharmaceutical, where he worked for almost 40 years. He found great joy attending both New Covenant Christian and Rockhill Baptist Church. He was a member of the NRA and avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, hunting and fellowship. Ray could often be found sharing his adventures with a cup of coffee and a smile. He would share many stories with his 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Derick, Connor, Savanah, Colin, Max, and Christina. Ray will be remembered by many family members, including Bonny McCrary (aka Gesica Gydirah); his daughters, Michelle McCrary, Lisa Fulkerson, and daughter and son-inlaw Rebecca and Jeff Graham; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Dale Melampy; brother and sister-in-law Tony and Kathy McCrary and sisterin-law Barbara McCrary. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Nick McCrary, and grandson Jacob Graham. Services: A visitation will be held May 14th from 4 p.m. 8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, located at 10151 Gravois Rd in St. Louis. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on May 15th at Kutis, immediately followed by a processional to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, located at 2900 Sheridan Road in St. Louis for the burial ceremony at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the
