Robert Herbert "Bob" Forsch

Forsch, Robert Bob Herbert 61, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at his home in Florida. He was born Jan. 13, 1950 in Sacramento, CA. Beloved husband of Jan, loving father of Amy and Kristin, cherished stepfather of Beth Gore and Andrew Kreps, adored grand- father of Tom and Matthew Gore and treasured brother of Ken Forsch. He is also survived by many loved nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends. Bob, a former pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros, spent the last few years doing what he loved - working with the 'young kids' in the Cincinnati Reds minor league system. Bob's kindness and generosity, sense of humor and laughter is reflected in those whose lives he touched. Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at The Kirk of the Hills, 12928 Ladue Road, St. Louis, MO 63141. Following the memorial there will be a reception in the salon; a time for family and friends to share stories and memories. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the , Cardinals Care, the Reds Community Fund or the MLB Baseball Assistance Team.
