Shirley Lee Geissler

Geissler, Shirley Lee (nee Setchfield) on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at age 88. Beloved wife of the late Herman Max Geissler in 69 years of faithful marriage. Dear mother of Dale (Julie), Mark (Rhonda), Gary (Kathye) and Gene (Brenda) Geissler. Dear mother in law of Sandy Geissler. Dear grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 37. Shirley was the ham to Herman's eggs, inseparable in love, a faithful partner raising four sons as a hen over her babe chicks, overlooking weaknesses, forgiving mistakes, bragging on successes and always first to hug and say I love you. She laughed, cried, sang and danced through the years to the tune of Herman's trumpet and the sweet melody of family, bringing blessings and joy to hearts of many lifelong friends in the process. She loved volunteering her time at the High Ridge Feed My People serving with joy over the years. Shirley was a true mother and friend to many sons and daughters, friends, and neighbors, permanently adopting all who stumbled into the circle of her love. Surely, the home filled with love on Cherry Hill will remain in our hearts forever. We will see you in heaven Mom. Luv Ya, Luv Ya, Luv Ya! Services: Funeral Tuesday 11:45 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois (63116). Interment J. B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Feed My People are appreciated. VISITATION MONDAY 4 È 8 PM.
