Frank Nickl Jr.

Nickl Jr., Frank Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church at age 90 on Thurs. Sept. 20, 2012. Frank is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Bailey), five children; Paula Nickl of Oklahoma City, Frank (aka Bud) (Donna) of Springfield, MO., Douglas of Rock Hill, Gregory (Gwenn) of Chesterfield, and Mary (Phil) Roberto of Pelham, Al. There are 16 surviving grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Jacquelyn Kaemmerer. Frank was the son of Dr. Frank and Agnes (Kirchner) Nickl. He attended school at St. Anthony of Padua, Resurrection, CBC High School, St. Benedict College and Washington Univ. Frank owned Nickl Auto Body, 1105 S. Brentwood (where the bus stop for the Galleria is now located), for many years. He also owned Speedy Appraisal Service and remained an appraiser until total retirement in his late 70s. Frank served in WWII in the NavyNaval Aviation. He continued his love of flying for the rest of his life and even owned his own plane. Services: A Memorial Mass will be held on Sat, Oct 6, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Sacred Heart Church, 17 Ann Ave., Valley Park 63088. Lunch will be served at his residence following mass, for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Humane Society of Missouri, Or American Heart Assoc.
