Virginia Babcock Obituary

Babcock, Virginia O. (nee Weyrauch) went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 while surrounded by loved ones at home. Beloved wife of the late Boyd Babcock and the late Vernon Walser. Beloved sister of the late Marguerite Niehoff and the late Hazel Weyrauch. Beloved mother of Vernon (Spanky) Walser (Virginia), Ginger Sailors, the late Denny Babcock, David Babcock, and Joe Babcock (Kitty). Beloved grandmother of the late Kevin Walser, Billy Bauer, Christine Vaughan (Marty), Steve Babcock (Mary Beth), Brian Babcock, Amy Cinotto, Alyssia Babcock, Megan Babcock, and Zachary Babcock. Beloved great-grandmother of Victoria & Sophia Vaughan, Henry & Mason Babcock, and Jake Cinotto. Beloved aunt of Randy (Marilyn), Gregory (Jan), & Kurt Niehoff. Dear cousin and friend to many, she served 25 years in the Salvation Army Auxiliary, was a long-time member of the Rubenstein Music Club, and played first violin in Maplewood-Richmond Heights and Brentwood Symphony Orchestras. Services: Visitation in St. Louis at Affton Christian Church Friday, August 31 from 1-4 with service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
