Fink, Russell E. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Loving husband of the late Sherry Fink; loving father of Stephen (Elizabeth), Scott (Sharon) Fink, Kathleen (Michael) Orso and Anne (Roland) Staeb; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Brett) LaForge, Nicole (Jeff) Smith, Whitney and Summer Staeb, Samantha and Sean Fink; dear great grandfather of Michael and Brooke Smith and Jack and Lauren LaForge. Russell was a Major in the US Army, served in WWII and Korean Wars, Chief Fire Underwriter for Safeco Insurance Company, Manager of Missouri Fair Plan until he retired in 1990. He did volunteer work at Delmar Gardens South, head usher at Assumption Catholic Church and dedicated to helping at Feed My People. Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 9:30 am for a 10 am Mass at Assumption Catholic Church. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Missouri Right to Life or Birth Rite appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 pm.

I met Russ while visiting my mom at Orchid Terrace. He was an extrodinary nice man and always a pleasure to be around. My mom and I will miss him and his wonderful personality. Our condolences go to his family and all his friends. Thank you for sharing Russ with us. May God bless all of you.
