I was sorry to learn that Kathy has passed away. We grew up just one block apart, and I will always remember her as my pretty cousin. Although I have never met any of you, my deepest sympathy goes to her children and grandchildren.

I first met Kathy and Tom in the early 1990s. She was the first person in St. Louis to attend a SNAP support group meeting. Over the years, she did a lot - often quietly - to help survivors recover from the horror we experienced as kids at the hands of predator priests. She was kind, dedicated and compassionate, and was a joy to be around. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

My husband and I were so sorry to see Kathy's obituary in today's paper. We had not seen her for many years, but knew Tom and Kathy from when we were all newly-weds, and Tom and Harold worked at the KATY Railroad. We were together quit a bit, and Kathy was a wonderful mother, and had a great sense of humor. The last time I saw Kathy was when I ran into her at the zoo with Andy and Tim. I had my two children with me. My husband and I are so sorry to know that you two young men and your families have lost your mother. Praying for comfort for all! Harold and Mona Pyatt
