As one of "Uncle John's" many nephews, I want to remind all who knew him, how much he loved being a "friend" to everyone.
My mother (Mary) was his oldest sister, and she had great pride in him. For my siblings (Terry, Linda, Sue and Richard), and I, he always provided an entertaining story - which typically provoked hearty laughter, and built wonderful memories.
As a young boy growing up, in St. Louis County, Uncle (Senator) John Johnson was larger than life - and I know many of my cousins felt the same way.
John & Alane - we are ALWAYS FAMILY with you and your Mom, as well as your respective children and grandchildren.
We will all miss him, and continue to love you.

Johnny you will be missed greatly. He was a wonderful man that never met a stranger. I loved hearing his many stories over the years. He was always so caring and thoughtful with all that crossed his path. I consider it a privilege to call him my friend.
