Jo,
I am truly saddened by the news. Al was a tremendous individual who became a very strong mentor for me both professionally and personally. I learned a lot from him and have attempted to put into practice much that he taught me. I owe a huge debt of gratitude for the influence that he has had on my life. The branches on his professional tree continue to grow and many individuals have become better people touched by his influence. Be very proud of the husband, father and grandfather and friend that Al was to all of us especially those that were part of both the Fenwal and blood banking community. My sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers to all of the Davis family.

To Jo and the Davis family,

I am so sorry for your lost. Al gave me my first job in the medical field 31 years ago, and taught me so much about being a professional. I will always remember him for his guidance, professional lessons, and most of all his humor. I really enjoyed the years I worked for Al at Fenwal. My deepest sympathies to the Davis family.

Jo,
I am so sorry I could not make the visitation but you have been in my thoughts a prayers since I heard about Al. He was a great guy and a wonderful father and husband. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you must be feeling now and I hope you can find comfort in knowing he is not suffering any more and is at peace. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

We send our love and deepest sympathy. We are so sorry that we can't be there in person to express to you how much Al will be missed. He was a truly great guy, always looking for ways to help others succeed.
Love to you all,

Deepest sympathy to Al's family from another Fenwal-ite. Al is a Fenwal "legend".

Al was a tremendous mentor to me not just on what it took to excel at sales but also as a son and father. I will never forget his support when my father was succumbing to Leukemia and how he visited my mother, directed me (as the oldest son) to be sure funeral arrangements were planned so my mother would not have to deal with it and was there for me right after my father passed.
In all my endeavors, since working for Al, I have tried to emulate his wisdom and style. I remember many a car ride where right after asking me how my boys and wife were doing I'd be quized on current status and strategy for the blood center we were headed for. Great Man...World a lesser place without him in it.

Al was instrumental in helping me get my first really good job. That job was replacing him in his old sales territory when he was promoted. My job was easy because everyone liked Al so they just accepted me. He was not only company friend but a personal friend after our working days. Madeline and I send our deepest sympathy to Jo and the entire Davis family. Rest in peace, Al. Jim and Madeline Tonella

Al was a mentor/role model for me and many other Fenwalites in the early days. He was an icon at Fenwal and blood center customers still tell Al Davis stories. My deepest sympathy to Jo and the whole Davis clan.
