Barry, Cathy and Family...Brenda was my second Mom at AT&T. I just learned of her passing and am so sorry I wasn't there for the services. What I remember most is her ability to make me feel like I was the most important person anytime we spoke (in our 'cubes' or elsewhere), her infectious laugh, a few Cardinal games and how proud she was of her family. I don't think I've ever been so sure of a person's place in Heaven as I am with Brenda. I'm sure she has already scoped out what must be the best shopping! I will keep you in my prayers during this very difficult time. Heaven sure got a good one!

I was sorry to hear about Brenda's passing. I worked with her at Lucent/AT&T/WECO and was tapping with her in the dance group in the talent shows. We all had many of laughs together! I will remember her smile and laugh always, she was a great friend. She will be missed, I will keep your family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Jan Hanne

Dear Cathy,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am on your Mom's passing. Words cannot describe how much your Mom's friendship has meant to me over the past 54 years. We were locker buddies at the old Western Electric when I started to work there. In fact, we used to call ourselves the "Bobbsie Twins," because we were always together and even would start to say the same things at the same time. I could go on and on about all the good times we had, which will never be forgotten.
Our prayers are with you and your family.
Love,
Toni & Bob Forth

Cathy, I am so sorry to lose my former travel buddy and Bag Lady. We had so much fun on our trips. We could laugh at anything. Brenda was always ready to go shopping. Bill and I met Brenda through Bruce. He and Bill were friends for a good part of their lives. We had good times and we have many good memories. God Bless your family and Brenda.

Cathy,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I'll always remember her coming to Mizzou for all of the football games. She always brought bags upon bags of snacks and goodies when she arrived at our apartment. I'll never forget when she bought you and I matching short outfits. Yours were red floral and mine were blue floral. She did love to shop! I will always remember how kind and generous she was to me.

I met Brenda in June, 1970 when I began working at 4240 Duncan Avenue. She was Len Kennedy's secretary. She and I worked in his Methods Department. Always a pleasure, she helped me in so many ways to fit into the new environment. I have not seen Brenda since she became severely ill, but I can see her in my memory, and I think of her often.

I am so very sorry to find out that Brenda has passed. I worked with her for many years and always enjoyed bumping into her in our post-work years. She always was one of those types that was a pleasure to interact with..never a cross word. My condolences to family and friends...I know her sunshine persona and smiling face will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace forever!
