Polly and Bob.. know that Chris is remembered at each daily visit to the Carmelite Monastery at the seventh station along with too many young people who left us too early, but GOD works in ways we do not know, but GOD knows all things, and CHRIS is in good hands.

Bob and Polly, We know you from years ago and are good friends of Bill and Linda. First let us say, you must have been so proud of Chris. He seemed to have shined in the eyes of all those who knew him. That's a tribute to the two of you. Second, no words can express the deepest sympathy that it seems everyone in St Louis feels for all of you. We can only pray for the delicate souls of each of those kids and your torn apart hearts. We continue to pray that somehow you find the strength to wake up each morning and are able to take that first step of the day. We were shocked to hear about Chris. I know it's been years since we've seen each other, but Mark and I would keep up with the progress of the boys from the basketball team as they went through high school. Chris made a lasting impression on us with his wit, sense of humor and outgoing personality. It just seems like yesterday we were wathcing them play ball together. Our hearts are broken for your family. Please know that we will carry you in our prayers. He lived a lot of life in his short time here. He will certainlly never be forgotten. I taught Chris Spanish at Marquette. What I remember and loved most about him is that he brought laughter and joy to myself and the class on a daily basis. It seems like he had that effect everywhere he went. Chris was a shining, open, happy spirit. It is wonderful to hear that even in passing, he will bring joy to many families looking for their miracle. Prayers and love to your family.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for donating Chris's organs. My husband receied a transplant November 18, 2011. I remember there were seven transplants the week-end that Craig received his. You have given many families an unbelievable gift of life. It is honestly unimaginable how you reached this decision, but thank God for your generosity. I don't pretend to understand the reason for tragedies and miracles. You are amazing. I will celebrate Chris's life at Sunday's transplant Candelight Memorial Ceremony. What a wonderful young man with a caring family.

All of us are deeply saddened by your family's loss. We have many fond memories of Chris including coaching him and watching him compete along side Brendan on the soccer field, whether on the Ascension outdoor team or the Green Ninjas indoor team. He was a polite and respectful young man of character. We recall his smile when he was on the field, especially when he got to play on the line with Kevin Leeker while on the Ninjas. Although it has been a few years since we left St. Louis for Atlanta, Kim, Brendan, and I can remember his presence and character as if it were yesterday. He was an extraordinary young man that surely touched many lives.
