My Dear 'Staddie',
Thank you for loving me as your own. I'll never forget your great sense of humor, kindness, love for me. My hat was always off to you for putting up with yet another mouth to feed all the times I invaded 5667 Leverette. To the best mom, 'second mom' and member extraordinaire of THE Greatest Generation indeed!
P.S. I will have a meal of 'sledja(?)' and 'wilted lettuce' and wash it down with a frosty cold Busch in your honor. I LOVE YOU. Thanks for letting me be an unofficial, honorary Downar for the past 35 years.
