Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your painful loss of Joe from this life. I'd like to share that while working at then Cardinal Ritter Institute, I had the pleasure to work with Joe in the first few years he arrived at Catholic Charities. He was very easy to like and highly competent. He will be missed by all.

It was fortunate that a blind date was set up for my mom and dad, for if not my brother, sister and myself would not have been blessed with this wonderful man. My dad was our rock. It was always a pleasure working with Joe at Monsanto. In spite of all the deadlines and pressures, Joe had a way with his wit and laughter to make us all laugh and enjoy life a little more.

I had the good fortune to attend high school with Joe. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always considerate of others. When we reconnected later in life he was so proud of his wife and family - and always had a stack of pictures to share. I find it no surprise that he worked for an organization helping the less fortunate - seems like that was what he was about.

Joe so patiently and graciously answered my many questions and helped resolve personnel issues for our agency over the years.
Joe also brought lots of smiles and laughs to the Catholic Charities family through the songs and lyrics he shared at our gatherings.
My prayers for Joe's eternal rest and for comfort for his family.

Joe and I worked together many years at Catholic Charities. His thoughtful, professional counsel was valued and appreciated. And his sense of humor and great smile defused potential crises. My sympathies are extended to all his family.
