We have been thinking of you and praying for you these past few weeks. Our hearts are filled with sadness, but are thankful that you gave Joe the gift of life. You brought him to a loving home and surrounded him with family and friends. You nurtured his talents and taught him to serve Christ and others. We can't understand God's will, but know that Joe is now in His loving care. Our prayers are with you and may peace surround you.

Tim, Sue, Abbie, & Sean, You continue to be in our family's hearts and prayers. As someone who was privileged to train Joe in club training from time to time and coach against him in games, words can't adequately capture just how deeply respected, admired, and liked Joe was not only by Briton, but the whole of our team and coaches. It wasn't just Joe's incredible skill and speed that amazed us all, it was his extraordinary character and humility as a young man, his ever present unbounded enthusiasm and joy of playing the game, and his infectious leadership of his Juventus teammates, that captured our hearts and why Joe was held in such high esteem by his peers, club mates, and SLSG coaches and staff. Joe had an ever present smile that lit up a soccer field every time he crossed the lines and all of us alike - peers, teammates, coaches, and parents - are grateful for knowing and learning from #6.
