Gloria Hope Habighorst

Habighorst, Gloria Hope 87, of Estero, FL, died Thurs., Sept. 12, 2013 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice. Formerly of Chesterfield, MO., she had been an Estero resident for the past 20 years. Gloria was born Dec. 10, 1925 in St. Louis, MO., a daughter of the late Raymond and Ella (Schlake) Lammlein. She was a graduate of St. Anthony's High School. Mrs. Habighorst worked for many years as a clerical supervisor for the St. Louis County Juvenile Court before retiring in the early 1990's. She was an avid golfer who also enjoyed quilting and sewing. Mrs. Habighorst was a member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, The Red Hat Society, and the 9 Holer's group at Country Creek Golf and Country Club. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Arthur A. Habighorst Jr.; Children, Arthur (Cindy) Habighorst III of Fairfield, CT., Paul (Joyce) Habighorst of St. Peters, MO, Eileen (Richard) Kee of Kuttawa, KY, and Roy (Diana) Habighorst of Wentzville, MO.; Grandchildren, Lisa, Missy, Kristin, Arthur IV, Kaylie, Kelsey, Jeremy, Joel, Robert and Jennifer; Great grandchildren, Zach, Chloe, Liam, Dylan, Bailey, Alex, Emily, Michael, Cody and Logan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Habighorst, and her sister, Irene Mraz. Services: Visitation at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Thurs., Sept. 26 from 58 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Monica Church, 12136 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, on Fri., Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
