My mother, Phyllis Heggi, was a friend of Helen's at the Fountians. She very much enjoyed her friendship. I enjoyed knowing her also. Mom and I express our sympathies to the entire Schopp family

My condolences to Helen's entire family. She was a very special person. As the first secretary in the newly-opened office of the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant in Milwaukee, her administrative and secretarial skills, along with her warm personality, were essential to getting the program off to a successful start. I learned a great deal about office management from Helen and I likely would never have completed my thesis without her typing and proofreading abilities. At this time of loss, I trust that you have so many pleasant memories of the wonderful person that Helen was and that you appreciate being able to share in her long life. Like you, I will always have very fond memories of Helen.
