Torrisi, Sam J. Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Mon., Jan. 14, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Max Torrisi (nee Keys); special friend of Carole Gomes; dear father and father-in-law of Chris Torrisi, Lisa (Ellis) Hough and the late Mark Torrisi; dear grandfather of Christa (Joe Tuey) Torrisi, Carrie (Dave) Woods, Heather and Sarah Torrisi and Andrew and Ellisa Hough; dear great-grandfather of Sam Woods; dear brother of Jim Torrisi, Rosalie Mueller, Fran Fitzgerald and the late Carm Miller, Dolly Berresheim and Flo McCaffery; our dear brother-inlaw, uncle, cousin and friend. Sam was the owner operator of National Home Products. He brought custom mirrors and shower doors to the St. Louis area for 40 years. He served in the Army during WWII and participated in the Normandy Invasion. Services: Funeral at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, on Thurs., Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer's Association appreciated. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Wednesday.
