Jeannette Jean Caskanett

Caskanett, Jeannette Jean 91, died peacefully Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Delmar Gardens South. Born Nov. 2, 1921, the youngest of nine, to Margaret Steutermann and Charles Williams in St. Louis. Her parents died at an early age and she was raised by her sister Bertha and husband Al Behr. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Caskanett for 48 years, dear mother of Tom, Jr. (Pat) and Rick (Jane) Caskanett and Judy (Don) Schober; dear grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 18; loving housewife, mother, Scout leader. Member of Assumption parish, Mattis Rd. for many years. She and her husband were avid square dancers. Jean resided at Delmar Villas South for the last 10 years where she was well-liked and will be missed by many. Services: Visitation Mon., Apr. 1, 4-8 pm at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Funeral Mass Tues., 12 noon at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd. Interment, National Cemetery.
