I recently had the honor to meet Hugh at Midvale Industries this past December while traveling for work. I sincerely enjoyed learning about him and his family of which he spoke so eloquently. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

I am sorry to send my thoughts and prayers through the Internet as it is not so personal, but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, Gwen, and your family at this time. Hugh was my KHS classmate, and he was one I so admired and respected throughout these many years. Hugh had such a gentle soul and kept in touch with us at reunions and get-togethers. May you find comfort and courage in God's promise of an Eternal Home. Truly, with love and care, Ruth Leinberger Hiss

I knew Hugh through Midvale Industries, as a distributor for Hammond Roto-Finish. He was the sweetest man, and I consider it a privilege to have known him.
