About 17 or 18 years ago, as a young lawyer in St. Louis, I worked with Jack and Jim Nangle on a case. Jack was a gentleman and a great storyteller. I know he will be missed by many.

I can't remember a time in my life that I was not aware of the Niemann family and how much my parents (Bill and Sue Anderson) treasured their long-time friendship spanning many decades. My thoughts are with the Niemann family at your time of loss, knowing that the world was a much better place for having such a wonderful man with us for so many years. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing. He was a precious man and was always so good to me though I was just a 'step' niece. I remember the fun holidays at the big house in Kirkwood - he sat in his chair in the family room and tried to distract the dog (a Weimaraner, I believe) from the commotion of the guests. Such a sweet man. My thoughts are with you all. xoxo Michelle Davis Sanders (Carol's daughter)

Though the miles separate us, I embrace each Niemann and share their sorrow. Tina, you will miss him so much. I'll keep you in my prayers. Love to all, Susie

My heart and prayers are with all of you as you travel this sad journey. May the Lord hold you tightly and rock you gently as you lay your beautiful patriarch to rest. Tho, I never met him, I feel I knew him - in the humor, faith, kindness, compassion, honesty and integrity of his heirs; "well done, good and faithful servant".... well done, indeed.

We both feel honored to have had Jack in our lives. He was of immeasurable help to the Urological Research Foundation. That was part of his charitable giving. Personally, we remember fondly his twinkle, his laugh, his sincere interest in all around him. We loved being with him and will miss him. Jan and Bill Catalona
