Roth, Kathleen (nee Crowley), Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Roth, Jr.; dear mother of Bob (Sally) Roth, Susie (John) Moloney, Don (Kathy) Roth, Pete Roth, Barbara (Ron) Marsek, Rick (Anne) Roth, Trish (Tom) Goldberg and John (Lauren) Roth; dear grandmother of 15; dear great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of the late Harriet Lewis and Paul Crowley; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Kathleen (Kay), born in St. Louis in 1915, graduated from Visitation Academy and then attended Maryville College. She worked at Gardner Advertising until her marriage in 1943 to Lt. Robert Roth, an officer in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Upon the completion of Robert's Air Force service they returned to St. Louis when he joined McDonnell Aircraft Co. She relished her role as a mother and housewife in Glendale until his death in 1962. She then joined the newly formed St. Louis Community College District as a contract administrator and retired twenty years later. She spent her retirement years enjoying the company of her many friends and her fellow parishioners at Mary Queen of Peace. Above all she was happiest when surrounded by her loving family, particularly during the regular family reunions when everyone would come back to St. Louis to celebrate a birthday, wedding, or holiday. Services: Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 29, 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 676 W. Lockwood Ave. 63119. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 4-8 p.m. at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, in Kirkwood.
