Thinking about Aunt Otha these past several days...remembering when Uncle Roy introduced her to our family...then how excited I was that they asked me to play piano for their wedding so many years ago...remembering many fun times having them & my cousins,John & James, come to our house for holidays & joining them, too, at their house in Kirkwood. Otha was always kind to us & I knew how much she loved Roy & her sons. Keeping you in prayer, James, John & Kris.

Otha was my immediate supervisor at Washington University for several years. She allowed me to work from home 2 or 3 days a week because I could not drive and the bus schedule was being cut. I remember when she and Mr. Overholt came all the way to Florissant when my father passeed.
James, the Overholt family are in my morning prayers.

John, I remember from high school how proud you were of your mom and her thirst for knowledge and accomplishments. It was clear in how you spoke of her. I do remember thinking that she must have had another time dimension that no one else had, because she was a great mom and did everything else, too. My thoughts are with you, Kris and James. Tim and I send hugs.

My Aunt Otha was a kind, loving wife, mother, and aunt. I have many wonderful memories of holidays spent with Roy, Otha, John & James when we were growing up. I remember the day Roy & Otha were married and then, how happy they were to welcome their sons into the world. I am blessed to have known you, Otha.
