Richard Nolbert Obituary

Nolbert, Richard Anthony 65, of Oakland, MO passed away on Wed, March 20, 2013. Rich was born June 13, 1947 to Edna (nee Tekien) & Walter Nolbert in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Loving husband of 43 years to Christy Jane Nolbert (nee Whittall); devoted father to Dawn (Sam) Smith and Tanya (Donnie) Craft; cherished godfather to Jessica (Tim) Callahan (nee Hirzy); best Papa ever to Eryn, Tanner, Ashley, Lauren, Madison, Addie, Jacob and Carson; beloved nephew, cousin, friend and shipmate to many during his service on the U.S.S. Perry. Rich will be missed by friends and co-workers at UPS, where he dedicated 34 years, retiring in 2004. Services: Visitation Mon., 4-8pm, Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Funeral service Tues. 10am at Bopp Chapel, Kirkwood followed by burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Louis chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association and/or the St. Louis chapter of Autism Speaks.
